Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to speak up, including people with disabilities and people who find reading hard.
This portal partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA: most of it meets the standard, and the parts that don't yet are listed below. Every page is checked automatically against WCAG 2.2 AA with axe in the browser tests on every change, and every screen was last opened at 4K to phone size, in six languages, light and dark, on 28 Oct 2026.
What works
- Using only a keyboard, with a clear focus outline
- Screen readers on the main screens
- Text enlarged up to 200% without losing anything
- Light and dark themes with good contrast
- Speaking a report instead of typing it
- Six languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati and Arabic
- Kiosk screens with pictures, read-aloud prompts and large buttons
Known limits
- Speaking and read-aloud depend on the browser and device
- Some text your company writes (categories, policies) may only be in some languages
- New text arrives in English and Hindi first, so Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati and Arabic pages may show some English
- Files people upload, such as photos or PDFs, may not be accessible
- The website's short product animations have no sound and no audio description; what they show is also in the text beside them
- The green "Safe" in the SpeakUpSafe logo is below the contrast ratio for text (logos are exempt, but we name it)
Need help or found a problem?
Tell your company's speak-up team with "Ask a question", or email [email protected]. We reply within 5 working days. Where your company allows it, you can also report without an account, or at a kiosk.
